About me
Hey there! I'm Tamás Vicze, coming from Pécs, Hungary. I hopped on a BMX bike first when I was 14 and, despite a few breaks, I've never really let go of the thrill. In 2019, I packed my bags and moved to Oslo to live and work, bringing my love for BMX along for the ride.
Fast forward to now - I'm 28 and just got back from an epic trip to the 10th Gade BMX Copenhagen Street Jam a couple months ago. Let me tell you, flying to Copenhagen for my first riding trip was a total game-changer. The vibe was off the charts, and being surrounded by so many other riders was just what I needed. After some tries I even managed a backflip into the water, and the cheers from everyone made me feel like a rockstar. That trip reminded me why I love BMX so much and got me all fired up again.
Back in Oslo, I was buzzing with energy and wanted to bring that same awesome vibe to the local BMX scene. So, I started @bmxoslo to connect with the few riders here and try to recreate some of that Copenhagen magic. It's a long road ahead, but hey, every great adventure starts somewhere, right?
I might not be the best BMX rider in Oslo, but my passion for bringing riders together, learning new tricks, and meeting cool people is through the roof. I'm all about boosting the Norwegian BMX scene and creating a space where we can hang out, share our love for BMX, and have a blast. That's my story, and I can't wait to see where this wild ride takes us!
